In this episode, Kubicast had the honor of chatting with Edilson Azevedo, the Operations teammate with the most acidic sense of humor of all, the guy who hides in the bathroom on party days, and who helps us bring Kubernetes to the world. To start off on a very controversial note, we asked him: Does Open Source actually make money, or is it just stickers and t-shirts? Afterwards, we continued talking about the reasons that lead companies to adopt Enterprise vs Open Source; the differences between running OpenShift vs OKD and the good and bad sides of following Enterprise rules. We also commented on experiences in hyped startups, which spend invested money on parties fueled by gourmet whiskey!
