#106 - Battle of Ingresses: Nginx VS HAProxy

After the KubeCon NA 2022 Marathon, we are back to the normal schedule of Kubicast, bringing to the microphone two great geniuses of Open Source: our dear Ricardo Katz and our newest acquaintance João Morais.

Their presence here is for us to hold a clash between Nginx vs HAProxy, and this battle is not just any battle, because they work directly at the source code level of these ingresses.

So, which one is better? When should you not use Nginx? What was the motivation for creating HAProxy? And more: what is life like as an Open Source project maintainer?
