Kubicast #107 - Interview with Gabs Ferreira

To understand what a DevRel person does, Kubicast talked with Gabs Ferreira, a fantastic guy who has been creating content for the community independently since 2015. Currently, he also leads the DevRel area at Alvin, an Estonian startup where many Brazilians work! And he also worked with this at Alura for over four years. In addition to talking about the career and giving tips for working in DevRel, Kubicast asked him to comment on the importance of devs understanding a bit more about infrastructure and the need for companies to be in multi-cloud environments.

• DevRel is an area and not a job title

• Engage with some community

• Write articles, record podcasts and videos

• Follow people who create content

• Look for companies that have this department

• Create this role within your company or to work in companies

• Selling products should not be the focus of DevRel's work
