Kubicast makes its 2022 debut bringing back the illustrious Guilherme Valle and Marcos Antônio Moraes from Americanas s.a to share how last year's Black Friday operation went. With more than 100 clusters to manage, these guys plan the event 11 months in advance. Updating Kubernetes and adding new features to the platform are things that aren't left for the last minute. All of this so that, days before, only a few tests are needed, such as load-increase testing, for example. In addition to the questions about this monster operation, Kubicast also wanted to know how they are dealing with AWS since the end of 2021, how they keep different cloud environments (AWS and GCP) aligned, and how they maintain visibility over all of this while complying with LGPD.
