KubiLab – The paradox of limits in Kubernetes

CTO

João Brito

Resource scalability is one of the key points in using clustered or distributed environments, but for infinite resilience to happen, some configurations are necessary. Keep in mind that the machine prioritizes the machine, and for Kubernetes to run properly, we must create limits for all deployments, because Murphy's Law exists and can surprise you by exhausting resources on the very one you didn't program. To talk about and show how this works in practice, I invited my very worthy colleague Rafael Peroco, DevOps Engineer at Getup. Go ahead and hit play to check out this great lesson:

For now, I conclude Getup's content programming here. I wish you all much health and prosperity for 2022. See you soon! Thanks, everyone! Notice! On January 18, we have KCD Brasil, the biggest and best event for the Cloud-Native community. Check out the schedule and sign up here. Kubicast is a production by Getup, a specialist in Kubernetes and supporter of the UnDistro project, a distribution to manage multiple Kubernetes clusters.
