Authentication system

This release marks a significant milestone with the introduction of industry-standard OAuth-based authentication and authorization workflows across all APIs within our product. Through the adoption of OAuth we’ve greatly improved the security of our platform, ensuring all data access is tightly controlled and protected through secure, token based authentication.

This update also lays the groundwork for more powerful, future capabilities. We are now in a position to introduce fine-grained permissions, providing workspace users with the ability to control access to information at a more detailed level, along with role-based access controls to define specific roles within the workspaces, further enhancing the flexibility and security of the platform.

New feature: Risk Acceptance

The primary focus of usability in this release is the Risk Acceptance feature, which enhances visibility into vulnerabilities and misconfigurations that pose a real threat to your Kubernetes clusters. With this feature, you can customize rules based on detected vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, ensuring your team focuses solely on the issues that truly impact your clusters. This simplifies management and optimizes time, allowing your efforts to be directed where they matter most.

The Zora Dashboard will enable you and your team to:

• Easily manage risks through a unified interface that allows you to view, update, and remove rules with ease. You’ll also be able to identify which resources are affected by these rules and track a detailed history of changes through the audit trail, ensuring full visibility and control over your clusters.

• Anticipate future scenarios by creating rules that apply not only to current resources but also to those that will be added to your clusters in the future. This way, you can proactively manage changes, maintain effective control, and ensure a clear, organized view with well-structured rules.

With the new workspace management space, you can easily view and manage users, clusters, and resources, as well as keep track of your active plan, all in one place. This centralized view not only improves visibility but also gives you the flexibility to upgrade your plan whenever needed.

Starting with the Free plan, the Zora Dashboard allows you to manage up to 2 clusters and 10 nodes each. As your needs grow, you can seamlessly upgrade to the Production Plan, which offers specialized support and hands-on assistance from our team. Everything is managed directly from the workspace, giving you full control over your resources and the plan that best fits your business.
